A Winter’s Tale: A Culinary Journey
The Granite State Supper Club held on February 12 at Foothills Restaurant was yet another successful and delicious evening, bringing together storytelling, great company, and an exquisite menu of locally sourced cuisine. Presented by Just Right Events, LLC and Emerald Events Co., the event featured a carefully curated four-course dinner, paired with engaging storytelling by Ed Fayle, who captivated the crowd with his tales while guests savored each bite.
The evening began with a delightful Sip & Savor experience, featuring savory herbed popcorn and sweet onion fritters. Guests enjoyed these treats while sipping on the signature “Cherry Bomb” mocktail, as well as a selection of wine and beer. The combination of light snacks and refreshing beverages set the perfect tone for an evening of connection and conversation.
The Starters course showcased the finest locally sourced ingredients, featuring roasted radishes, mustard-glazed asparagus, and carrots with pomegranates and walnuts. Each dish highlighted the season’s freshest flavors, offering guests a true taste of New Hampshire’s natural bounty.


The Main Course featured a comforting and rich creamy chicken stew, a dish that was both hearty and satisfying. Paired with the elevated bacon grilled cheese with pepper jelly, this course was a perfect blend of comfort food and creativity, with the smoky bacon and tangy pepper jelly adding a unique twist to the classic grilled cheese.
For dessert, guests enjoyed mixed berry handpies, which were the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Served alongside locally roasted coffee and tea, the dessert brought warmth and sweetness to an unforgettable evening.
Throughout the event, storyteller Ed Fayle kept the crowd entertained with engaging stories, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. The combination of storytelling and locally sourced food made this supper club a unique and memorable experience.
